A British company called i.Con has unveiled the world’s first “smart condom” that can apparently keep track of the speed of thrusts, number of positions used, and even calories burned.
Before you scream in horror at the idea of a rechargable condom, the i.Con is actually a small waterproof ring that fits on the penis around the base of a regular condom.
Here’s i.Con’s pitch:
Welcome to the future of wearable technology in the bedroom.
Welcome to i.Con.
The company also claims that i.Con “will record”:
– Speed of thrusts
– Total number of thrusts
– Frequency of sessions
– Total duration of sessions
– Average velocity of thrusts
– Girth measurement
– Different positions used (currently BETA testing – will have more info in a release coming soon)
– Average skin temperature
